The adventure begins! Once upon a time . . .
Jeremiah Stokes' Thunder Cave began as a compilation of bedtime stories he made up for his children "on the spot".
The 1945 edition of Thunder Cave was a revised version, prepared by
Jeremiah Stokes with the help of two of his children, Claudia Stokes Thurman
and Jeremiah Stokes the 3rd. His wife, Susan Eugenia [Neff] Stokes, who had helped him
in the preparation of the 1932 edition, had died. The revision was printed by Bookcraft.
